The war of words continues to escalate on the northern front while the action in Gaza takes a back seat.
Israel seems to be diplomatically checkmated in Lebanon because of the Syrian/Iranian alliance which makes a forceful incursion into Lebanon and/or Syria nearly suicidal.
The southern front of Gaza is stalemated with no resolution to the Gilad Shalit situation.
Keep an eye on the West Bank. That's the prize, in my opinion.
